woodland birthday outfit!
First, a felt mushroom.
It is a happy mushroom, of course, with a polka dot top.

Sure, she'll match part of the table cloth but I love this little deer print!
Nothing says birthday like sparkly tulle.

Found: one fuzzy mushroom stool from the 70's
Add some red and white polka dots...
Now it's a party stool!
Here it is a week before the big day and I am JUST pulling together an invitation. Typically, I am one for good old fashioned mail but there is not enough time! This will have to do. I think it's pretty cute: some polka dot fabric, moss I will roll out as part of the centerpiece, and Martha Stewart makes little felt critter stickers and woodland picture corners...perfect! Time to email these out!
Searching on line for baby shower favors was a bit disappointing for us. We're just not crystal pacifier, rubber ducky candle, baby feet soap kind of people. We had to come up with something else. Of course we went with something edible!
We ordered a tray of cinnamon buns from our favorite bakery in Tivoli. We put each in a hot pink bakery box and tied it with orange 'wraphia'.
Bun in the oven!
