Gather and Nest

 

Hunt.

I love the hunt; flea markets, thrift stores, yard sales, the side of the road. I love it when the find is something I didn’t even know I was looking for. ‘Hmmm, what could I make with that?’ 

 

Gather.

Recipes, fabrics, vintage rubber animals, plants, bowls, polka dot glasses, shoelaces, colorful and not so colorful vases, interesting papers, great ideas, things that make me smile. I love mass quantities, especially gumballs and rainbow sprinkles.

 

Nest.

My home environment has always been important, it must be the taurus in me. Although I like to collect stuff, I don’t like clutter. I like things arranged in a way to feel comfortable and inspiring. Now that I am pregnant with our first child it has given a whole new meaning to the word nest.
